Dear Yuletide Writer!

gabolangeSo despite the fact that I have been in fandom approximately twelve million years, I only rarely do Yuletide. But this year there are a bunch of fandoms I know and love, so here we are! First, and most importantly: thank you! I am sure I will love anything you write me, because OMG you are writing me a story! I am very grateful for your time.
Second, a couple DNWs: I am not really into non-canon major character death, or werewolves or A/B/O, or trauma porn. Also DNW non-con, rape, gratuitous violence against women, or embarrassment stuff. And I really, really don't want any character bashing.
Third, a couple loves: I am a character whore. I love a good canon-divergence AU of course, but my heart is happiest unpacking the characters we love in the settings we know. I don't mind if that's fluffy or heartfelt or hurt/comfort or deep inside someone's head or outside POV or whatever, but my happiest place is character work in a canon-friendly or canon-adjacent way. I want the characters to be recognizable themselves more than anything.
Fourth the fandoms!
For All Mankind: Oh Margo. Margo is everything. I would love any story about Margo, whether that's from her POV or outside. Anything about her ambition or her complicated relationships or how she perceives herself or how others perceive her.
If you're interested in writing a relationship-based story, I am a dedicated Margo / Sergei shipper, but I always want to take seriously how tangled and complex their relationship is--they don't need a happy ending to be interesting to me. I am extremely here for Margo in situationships with Molly or Ellen, or for untangling how she and Irina interact. FWIW, For all its centrality, I find the Margo & Aleida relationship less interesting than most people do.
But yes, anything that gives us Margo-as-Margo with all her contradictions and ambitions would make my Yuletide perfect.
Wheel of Time: Moiraine! I am a show-only viewer, and that show is the Moiraine show.
Anything you want to do about understanding Moiraine's psyche or her journey or her most important relationships would be lovely. Duty and drive and single-mindedness and the impact it has on her. Quiet moments to reflect on that. Bad days or good. I am not a Moiraine / Lan shipper (but I adore their unique platonic partnership), and I am a Moiraine / Siuan shipper and I haven't seen enough fanfic unpacking the challenges they dealt with in S2, which I think are interesting and do not constitute the end of their relationship. I think Moiraine's relationships with Lanfear and Liandrin are *fascinating*. I love her complicated friendship with Alanna. She's just such a rich character, I think anything you put together would be wonderful.
Covert Affairs: Oh, I loved this show. I would love Annie and Eyal in the aftermath, trying to figure out what happens after all the dust settles. But I would also love them working together, bantering and bickering, trying to figure out how much they like each other, how much they love each other, and if they can trust each other.
